Resistance Studies, Nonviolent Action Strategies (Civil Resistance), Social Movements & Change, Power Theory.

Areas of interest
Interpretations of the social meanings of acts of nonviolent disobedience as well as how transnational movements breaking of system-rules influences economic and political system-functions. Social movement theory. Conflict management.

  • Legal Change and Social Movements (2010-2012), funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet).
  • Everyday Resistance (2010), funded by University West.
  • World Culture and Resistance (2010), funded by University of Gothenburg.
  • Transnational Social Movements & Resistance Strategies (2001-2004, 2007, 2009-) (Unfunded). Funding applied for a continuation of the project.
