About Bertil Rolandsson

BERTIL ROLANDSSON took his Ph.D. in Sociology 2003, at the Department of Sociology, University of Gothenburg. His thesis focuses upon how the Swedish labour union framed the ICT-development between 1976-1996.

Teaching and tutoring
Rolandsson is mainly teaching in organizational theory, but also in courses about work life or sociology broadly.

Specialist fields
His research focuses ICT and the organization of work, and issues such as governance and trust in that field. He also does research about risk/security culture at work.

Current research
At the moment Rolandsson is involved in two research projects. One of them is financed by FAS and focus on how open practices of work/co-production are organized in media, pharma- and the software industry.
The other project is financed by VR (Vetenskapsrådet) and focus on attempts to organize trustworthy and receptive modes of work within the police.

Miscellaneous
Bertil Rolandsson has also worked at Mid-Sweden University and University of Borås.
