Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg (CERGU)

The Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg (CERGU) was established in 1995 to promote multidisciplinary research on issues related to Europe. Currently, CERGU has researchers from three different faculties: The School of Business, Economics and Law, The Faculty of Social Sciences, and The Faculty of Arts.

The research conducted at CERGU was instrumental in the University of Gothenburg being recognised as a Jean Monnet European Centre for Excellence in 1998.
