Centre for Global Human Resource Management

The Centre for Global Human Resource Management (CGHRM) is the first center for HRM research of its kind in Sweden or in the other Nordic countries. Our vision is to create a national meeting place, and eventually an international meeting place, for discussion of HRM issues between academia and the private and public sector.

The mission of CGHRM is to strengthen Swedish research in HRM by establishing a meeting place and a knowledge bank and, through researcher collaboration, initiating, developing and promoting relevant HRM research and development in a dialogue with the private and public sectors. CGHRM promotes Swedish competitiveness through research that increases human knowledge, improves organizations’ and individuals' competences, and promotes a sustainable and balanced work life.

CGHRM was founded in late 2013 as an inter-disciplinary collaboration between the School of Business, Economic and Law and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gothenburg.
