Are you interested in grappling with the richness and diversity of contemporary sociological theory and methods? Given the continuing relevance and incisiveness of sociological analysis this programme enables you to further an exciting variety of career plans directed towards some of today’s most challenging problems in fields like working life, healthcare, urban life, migration, social movements, gender and equality, climate policy and environmental change.
In particular the programme prepares you for professional careers within public and private sector organizations practicing qualified forms of social analysis as well as an academic research career in sociology and the social sciences. The programme is offered to both international and domestic students and all compulsory courses are taught in English.
