Healthcare is facing an intensive period of restructurings and reorientations. A long series of attempts to develop and rationalize healthcare has led to insights that more sustainable and close-to-practice methods of organizational improvements needs to be applied. With our Scandinavian tradition of employee involvement and learning in working life, there is potential for developing more sustainable care processes - while strengthening opportunities for enthusiasm and well-being. The overall aim is to study and describe approaches to building and organizing capacity for sustainable work processes, learning, commitment and well-being - undergoing reorientation of healthcare processes.
