Digital Infrastructures for a Sustainable Transition to Person-Centred Care

This project addresses creative tensions between the two current ambitions in healthcare reform to advance transitions from disease-centred to person-centred healthcare and to digitalise healthcare infrastructures. The individualizations of care that digitalisation enables can be understood to be highly variable in design and orientation involving different partners and stakeholders in the new ‘co-creation’ of care delivery. Addressing a particular model of person-centred care developed in Gothenburg this project interrogates variations in approaches to its digital infrastructuring including different patterns of participatory design and user-driven innovation.
